Pittsburgh: Quirks and All

The Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation executive director Louise Sturgess reveals the quirks of fate and quirky physical characteristics that have made-and make-Pittsburgh such a unique city.  Everything from weather, steel, to the Steelers will be discussed, including “getting here” to “getting around.”  April 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Sherwood Oaks auditorium.  Admission is free and open to the public but reservations are required by calling 800 642-2217.

Tuesday Musical Club Orchestra

The Tuesday Musical Club Orchestra (woodwinds and strings) will be performing a spring program with selections by Mozart, Bach, and Lussier at Sherwood Oaks on Sunday, April 12 at 7:15 p.m. in the Auditorium.  The performance is free and open to the public but reservations are required by calling 724 776-8544 by Friday, April 10, 2015.
